SAT topper from Kolkata offered admission in seven top US universities

A Kolkata student, who secured a perfect score in SAT, now has offers from seven top US universities.
Arunavha Chanda, 19, a class 12 student from Delhi Public School in Ruby Park, is yet to decide on the university he wants to pursue his under-graduate education from, said a newspaper report.
According to the report, Arunavha applied for admissions to eight US universities and received acceptance letters from seven - Harvard University, Duke University, Cornell University, Stanford University, Columbia University, Georgia Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College.
The college, which slipped through his fingers was MIT since he was unable to submit his project on time.
He has been offered the C. Prescott Davis scholarship by Columbia University, said the newspaper report.
He has also been offered financial aid from Harvard, Cornell University, Stanford University, Georgia Institute of Technology and Dartmouth College since they do not give scholarships at under-graduate level.
Arunavha's parents are doctors.
